Large-scale advanced pressurized water reactor and high temperature gas-cooled reactor nuclear power plant science and technology major projects passed the comprehensive performance evaluation
Recently, the Nuclear Power Division of the National Energy Administration and the Nuclear Power Major Project Implementation Management Office organized a comprehensive performance evaluation of the project "Development of Engineering Prototypes for Off-reactor Nuclear Testing Instrumentation Equipment" in Wuhan, a major science and technology project for large-scale advanced pressurized water reactors and high-temperature gas-cooled reactor nuclear power plants. The subject is jointly undertaken by China Shipbuilding Institute and State Nuclear Auto-Instrument System Engineering Co., Ltd. Qin Zhijun, deputy director of the Nuclear Power Department of the National Energy Administration, and his party attended the performance evaluation.
The comprehensive performance evaluation adopts the method of on-site meeting review. Three groups of experts composed of 14 experts have conducted a strict review on the completion of tasks, use of funds, file management and other related situations, and conducted a review of the external nuclear testing instruments and equipment. On-site inspections were conducted and questions and discussions were conducted on related issues.
The expert group believes that this subject has carried out the design, research and manufacture of the relevant components of the external nuclear testing system, and has mastered the relevant key technologies and processes. The project undertaking unit has completed all the research contents, achieved the research objectives, met the requirements of the assessment indicators, and obtained scientific and technological achievements with independent intellectual property rights. The research results meet the application requirements of the "Guohe No. 1" demonstration project. The sound and orderly management organization system of the research group has effectively ensured the smooth implementation of the project. During the implementation process, young backbones in related fields have been trained and trained, and talents have been reserved for the construction of the "Guohe No. 1" demonstration project and similar pressurized water reactor nuclear power plant projects. . The expert group unanimously agreed that the project passed the comprehensive performance evaluation.
The implementation period of this project is from January 2019 to December 2021. With the support of leaders from all walks of life, the research team has overcome various impacts caused by the new crown epidemic, successively conquered a number of core key technologies, and completed scientific research work with high quality and quantity as required.
The implementation of this project has not only improved the design and production conditions of gas radiation detectors in the field of neutron measurement, but also greatly enhanced the research and development capabilities of key instruments and meters in nuclear power plants where 719 is located. During the implementation of the project, it has successively obtained a number of difficult qualification certificates such as civil nuclear safety equipment design and manufacturing licenses (external nuclear testing instruments), nuclear material licenses, etc., which expanded the scope of competence and qualifications. The founding team has created favorable conditions for 719 Institute to open up new growth points in the civil nuclear power business field in the future.
