Magnetostrictive Liquid Level Meter Operating Principle
When the sensor of the magnetostrictive level meter works, the circuit part of the sensor will stimulate a pulse current on the waveguide wire, and the current will generate a pulse current magnetic field around the waveguide wire when it propagates along the waveguide wire. The sensor rod of the magnetostrictive level meter is provided with a float, which can move up and down along the rod with the change of the liquid level. Inside the float is a set of permanent magnetic rings. When the pulsed current magnetic field meets the ring magnetic field generated by the float, the magnetic field around the float changes so that the waveguide wire made of magnetostrictive material generates a torsional wave pulse at the position of the float, which is transmitted back along the waveguide wire at a fixed speed and detected by the detection mechanism. By measuring the time difference between pulse current and torsional wave, the position of float can be accurately determined, that is, the position of liquid level. Technical advantages of the magnetostrictive level gauge: the magnetostrictive level gauge is suitable for the level measurement of clean liquid level with high precision, and the accuracy can reach 1mm. The accuracy of the latest product can reach 0.1mm. Magnetostrictive level meter can also be used to measure the boundary between two different liquids. Explosion-proof design, suitable for dangerous occasions, intelligent electronic circuit design can calculate the volume; The only moving part is the float, so the maintenance is very low.
