NYYCUK-BTuning Fork Level Switch Working Principle

 

The NYYCUK tuning fork level switch is a universal level limiting switch. The tuning fork is excited by a piezoelectric crystal which generates vibrations. When the tuning fork is immersed in a liquid or solid, the frequency of the vibration changes. This change in frequency is detected as a switching value by the electronic circuitry. The tuning fork level limit switch is unaffected by dielectric constant, turbulence, agitation, air bubbles, vibration, etc. and has no moving parts. It therefore requires no maintenance or adjustment. It is ideal for level switches in complex operating conditions. The latest smart chip can be used as an oil-water interface switch.

The tuning fork level switch is widely used for limit monitoring of liquid media such as tap water, mineral water, petrol, diesel, pulp, glue, waste water, dyes, acid and alkaline solutions, beer and beverages, as well as solid powders and small solid particles with good fluidity.
