Radar Level Meter Operating Principle
FM wave FMCW radar products (also called millimeter wave radars), because they use millimeter wave bands with a higher frequency than Ku band radars, they are important in remote target detection and strong smoke and dust environments, such as long-distance imaging and multi spectral imaging. Application, and can detect smaller targets than microwave radar and achieve more accurate positioning, with higher resolution and stronger confidentiality.

◎ 5GHz working bandwidth, so that the product has higher measurement resolution and measurement accuracy.
◎ Coherence: Dipole oscillation driven by dry current or non-linear difference frequency effect of coherent laser pulse;
◎ Low energy: The millimeter-wave photon energy is only a few millielectron volts, and there will be no X-ray ionization and damage to the substance to be detected, so it is not easy to damage the substance to be detected.
◎Strong penetrability: It has strong penetrating power for non-polar materials. Many non-metal non-polar materials have less absorption of rays in this band, so they can be used to detect the internal structure of materials. For example, ceramics/cardboard/plastic products/foams are transparent to electromagnetic radiation in this band, and can also be used for airport/station safety monitoring, such as detecting machinery/explosives and drugs, or for circuit board welding detection.
◎ Easily absorbed by polar molecules; this band has less scattering in non-uniform materials, and can detect and measure water vapor content. It is also possible to study the material composition or carry out quality control by analyzing their characteristic spectrum.
◎ Large range and small blind area. The maximum range can reach 120m, and the blind zone can reach 8cm.
◎ Small beam angle and small antenna size make it easy to install. It is less affected by the size of the tank body and the interference of obstacles.
◎The wavelength is shorter, and it has better reflection characteristics on the solid surface, so no special universal flange is needed for aiming.
◎ Support remote debugging and remote upgrade to facilitate the maintenance work of on-site personnel.
As an 80GHz band radar used in industrial measurement, it has high-precision, non-contact level and liquid level measurement. It has the incomparable advantages of other ordinary microwave pulse radars and guided wave radars. The extremely narrow beam and penetrating ability are more effective.
