Rf Admittance Level Meter Operating Principle

 

Radio-frequency admittance measurement technology is a kind of material level measurement technology with unique advantages. Although the concept of capacitive measurement is similar to that of conventional capacitive measurement technology, RF admittance technology adds Driving-Shield circuit and chopper circuit to the electronic cell, so it can measure impedance and capacitive reactance separately. After passing through the laws of physics, it can be obtained that the impedance and capacitance reactance of any hanging material are equal, so the effect of the hanging material can be measured and the phase shift of the oscillating circuit is passed through, which is eliminated from the total output.
The probe of RF admittance level meter is installed in the storage tank, and the change of RF signal caused by the change of material level is obtained by the probe. The Driving-Shield End of the probe can prevent the RF current from forming a loop through the hanging material, which ensures the accuracy of the instrument measurement.

Rf Admittance Level Meter Installation requirements

 

Standard installation method

  • The effective measuring part of the probe can not touch the tank wall. The distance from the tank wall L is greater than 600mm.
  • When there is strong stirring in the tank, the lower end of the probe should be fixed and the probe should be kept away from the mixer to ensure safety
  • Instrument must be reliably grounded
  • Probe can not be installed in filling nozzle (or slot) and other material flow directly through the place. If this is not possible, install a partition between the probe and the filling nozzle (or slot).
  • The installation space must be considered when the hard rod probe of the instrument is installed. Cable probe should be straightened after installation to avoid short circuit with tank wall
  • Installation must be very careful not to damage the insulation of the probe. The central end and shield layer of the probe shall not be in contact with the installation interface or the vessel wall, and avoid mechanical wear of the probe with the installation interface, container wall, material, etc during the use of the probe
  • Instrument guard pipe must not have stagnant water, otherwise it will endanger the instrument electronic
