Working principle of Intelligent Guided Wave Radar Level Transmitter For High Temperature Liquid
When the guided wave radar level gauge transmits electromagnetic pulses, when it passes through the top of the guided wave cable, it will generate a false echo because it is close to the transmitting end, and the interference can be eliminated by filtering the false echo. When the electromagnetic pulse propagates down the waveguide, when the signal reaches the surface of the measured medium, part of the echo will be reflected, and a step change will be generated on the echo curve. Another part of the signal will continue to propagate downward until the loss is continuously transmitted. The liquid level gauge detects the time difference between the liquid level echo and the top emission echo. According to this time difference, the intelligent signal processor can calculate the height of the liquid level.
