NYSP-M17 RF Admittance Level Meter Working Principle

 

RF Admittance level meter is a kind of continuous level measurement product based on RF Admittance principle. The product has the advantages of high stability, high sensitivity and wide application. Compared with traditional capacitance level meter, it adopts modular design, which can set up the instrument easily and conveniently. After the setup is completed, it can be used normally and is maintenance-free for life. It enables users to visualize the operation of the equipment and deal with problems in time. It is also safe and reliable in complex industrial settings.

RF conductivity measurement technology is a level measurement technology with unique advantages. Although the concept is very similar to the general capacitance measurement technology, RF conductivity technology adds a drive shield circuit and a chopper circuit to the electronic unit, thus enabling independent measurement of impedance and capacitive resistance. According to the calculation of physical laws, the impedance and capacitive resistance of any suspension are equal, so the effect caused by the suspension can be measured and eliminated from the total output by the phase shift of the oscillation circuit.

The probe of the RF conductivity level meter is installed in the tank and the change of RF signal caused by the level change is obtained through the probe. The drive shield of the probe prevents the RF current from forming a loop through the hanging material, ensuring the accuracy of the instrument measurement.
