Throttle device has many advantages, but generally feel the pressure line in the field laying workload, but also prone to leakage, blockage and other problems. In recent years, differential pressure transmitters have made rapid development, not only compact size, and stable performance, easy to adjust, basically no need to adjust the zero point in the process of use. These advantages have contributed to the development and application of one-piece throttle flowmeter (including orifice plate, annular orifice plate, nozzle, etc.).
All-In-One Flew Meter Working Principle
Installed in the pipeline internal orifice or nozzle and other throttling parts, due to the throttling parts of the aperture smaller than the inner diameter of the pipe, when the fluid flow through the throttling parts, the flow beam cross-section suddenly contracted, the flow rate accelerated. The static pressure of the fluid at the back end of the throttle is reduced, so the static pressure difference is generated before and after the throttle, which has a definite numerical relationship with the fluid flow rate, in line with Q = K.√△P. The differential pressure transmitter (or differential pressure meter) is used to measure the differential pressure before and after the throttle to achieve the measurement of the flow rate.
