NYRD-702 Radar Level Transmitter Overview
Products Description
NYRD702 Guided Wave Radar Level Transmitter Working Principle
The high-frequency microwave pulse emitted by the guide wave radar travels along the detection assembly (steel cable or steel rod). When the measured medium is encountered, the dielectric constant changes, causing reflection, and part of the pulse energy is reflected back. The time interval between the emitted pulse and the reflected pulse is directly proportional to the distance of the measured medium.
Input:Guided wave radar is a measuring instrument based on the principle of time travel. The radar wave operates at the speed of light, and the operating time can be converted into a level signal through electronic components. The probe sends out high-frequency pulses and propagates along the cable or rod probe. When the pulses meet the material surface, they are reflected back and received by the receiver in the instrument, and the distance signal is converted into the level signal
The reflected pulse signal is transmitted to the electronic circuit of the instrument along the cable or rod probe. The
microprocessor processes the signal and recognizes the echo generated by the microwave pulse on the material surface. The correct echo signal identification is completed by the pulse software. The distance D from the material surface is proportional to the time travel T of the pulse: D=C×T/2(Where C is the speed of light) Since the distance E of the empty tank is known, the level is: L=E-D
Output:Be entering the empty tank height E (= zero point), the full tank height F= (full scale) and some application parameters to set,the application parameters will automatically adapt the instrument to the measurement environment, corresponds to 4-20mA output.
