Magnetic Float Digital Output Level Indicator Magnetic Flip Level Gauge Principle:
The transmitter consists of a liquid level sensor and a converter. The sensor consists of a number of reed switches and resistors mounted inside an inner diameter 20 stainless steel tube and secured to the outside of the measuring tube. The converter consists of electronic modules and is mounted in the sensor's junction box.
Through the coupling of magnetic floats, the sensor converts the change of the liquid into the value of the resistance of the resistor and converts it into a 4~20mA.DC standard current signal by the converter and sends it to the secondary instrument to realize the remote liquid level/mode display.
Commissioning, use and maintenance
1, the transmitter debugging method
Place the magnetic steel at the zero position of the liquid level sensor. At this time, the lowest reed switch of the sensor is pulled in. Adjust the “zero” potentiometer to make the output 4~20mA; then place the magnet at full scale and adjust "Range" potentiometer, the output is 20 mA. Repeatedly several times, debugging can be completed.
2, installation precautions
(1) When the level gauge is installed, no foreign matter is allowed to enter the measuring tube.
(2) The level gauge must be installed vertically on the side of the container. When the float is installed in the measuring tube, there is one end of the magnet up, and do not turn it upside down.
3, put into operation considerations
When the level gauge is put into operation, first slowly open the upper valve, and then slowly open the lower valve so that the measured liquid slowly enters the measuring tube to prevent the pressure medium in the container from rapidly rushing into the measuring tube, so that the float rises rapidly, resulting in an indication Tube tracking is not working.
4, the maintenance of the level gauge
(1) When the measured medium contains impurities and sediments, the measuring tube and float should be cleaned periodically. When cleaning the float, proper cleaning agent should be used. Do not beat or braise with open flame to prevent magnetic demagnetization.
(2) After long-term use of the liquid level gauge, especially after long-term use under high temperature conditions, if it is found that the indicator tracking is not flexible, the magnetic field strength of the float magnetic steel should be checked first. If the magnetic field has been demagnetized, the magnetic steel or float should be replaced.
