Magnetic Plate Level Meter Operating Principle
Magnetic plate level meter can be used for the detection of medium liquid level of all kinds of towers, tanks, spherical containers and boilers and so on. Magnetic flip plate level gauge can be used for high sealing, leakage prevention and high temperature, high pressure and corrosion resistance.
The magnetometer has a chamber (called a measuring tube or a body tube) that holds a floating ball, and the cavity is connected to the container by flange or other suitable connection. According to the principle of the connectors, with the change of the liquid level in the container, the liquid level in the cavity is the same as the liquid level in the container, so the floating ball in the chamber is driven up and down, and up and down with the rise and fall of the liquid level in the container. At this point, we can't see the liquid level, so we have a magnetic column flip display on the outside of the cavity.
Permanent magnetic steel is installed at the junction between the floating ball sinking liquid and the floating part, and when the liquid level in the measured container rises and falls, so does the magnetic float in the liquid level gauge body tube. The permanent magnetic steel in the float is transmitted to the magnetic column indicator by magnetic coupling, driving the red and white rollers to flip 180 °. When the liquid level rises, the flip column changes from white to red, and when the liquid level drops, the flip column changes from red to white. The red and white junction of the indicator is the actual height of the liquid level inside the container, thus realizing clear indication of the liquid level.
